Check Out Hunger

Grocery Shoppers at nine area supermarkets will be participating in the Check Out Hunger fundraiser for the Second Harvest Food Bank January 24 through February 20. Area Shur-Fine stores will collect until the end of February. The nine stores include Wegmans (Peach and West Ridge), Tops (Bradford, West 26th, East 38th), Sander’s Market (East 6th) and Shur-Fine (Albion, West 8th, West Ridge).
Cashiers at each store will have coupons available to add a donation to the shopper’s total purchases. Each store gives 100 percent of this donation to Second Harvest to help provide nutritious food for those in need.
